relationship to another cannot be without compromise. it is here in compromise that we learn empathy, sacrifice and resolution. the buzzing of insects, the way roots bind at our feet. why do roots feel like giving up? blurred the lines between the unwavering and the disappearance- the maze that is all forms of love. we, the mazerunner.

the honeybee visits the flower- knowing it’s place, never questioning its death in the first freeze. how can we learn to recognize the difference between devotion and destruction?
